Hi, I’m Mikayla Crawford—a first-time mom, full-time student, and proud mom to three fur babies. Life is beautifully chaotic right now, and somewhere between diaper changes, coursework, and late-night cuddles, I realized something: I’m still me.

Motherhood is the most incredible, life-altering experience, but it doesn’t erase who we were before. It adds to it. And yet, so many of us struggle to figure out how to balance our new roles while still honoring our own passions, dreams, and identities.

Why I Started This Blog

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that being a mom doesn’t mean I have to give up the things that make me, me. Writing has always been my creative outlet, and this blog is my way of putting my thoughts and discoveries into words—not just for myself, but for anyone else who might be feeling the same way.

I know I’m not alone in this. I know there are other moms out there who love their families fiercely but still crave something just for themselves. Whether that’s a career, a hobby, a side hustle, or even just a little time to breathe, we deserve it—without guilt.

What You’ll Find Here

This space is for moms who are ready to explore who they are beyond motherhood. It’s for the dreamers, the doers, and the ones who know deep down that they’re meant for more than just one title.

I want this blog to be a place of inspiration, motivation, and real talk—because rediscovering yourself doesn’t mean loving your family any less. It just means making room for all the pieces of you that still exist, even if they’ve been buried under responsibilities for a while.

You’re Not Just “Mom” – You’re Still You

So, if you’ve ever felt guilty for wanting something outside of your family, let me be the first to tell you: you don’t have to. Your happiness, your dreams, and your identity matter. And I’m here to remind you (and myself) of that every step of the way.

I can’t wait to go on this journey with you! Tell me—what’s something you’ve been wanting to do for yourself lately? Drop a comment below and let’s start this conversation.
